Hello! I'm Johann, a 24-year-old Software Engineer from Brazil with over 6 years of professional experience in the tech industry. Fluent in Portuguese and English, providing high-performance web and mobile solutions.
My journey began in 2018, but my career truly took flight at Materialize, where I initially mastered Elm and Scss. Since then, I’ve evolved into a versatile developer capable of navigating complex software ecosystems. Most recently, I returned to Materialize as a Senior Software Engineer in a software factory environment. Over the past year, I’ve spearheaded critical projects for a diverse range of clients, including:
- Hoopr: Leading the front-end development of the platform.
- Psiuapp: Developing the web platform and contributing to the mobile application.
- Truss: Building key features for industrial management, including Sensor/Widget boat interfaces and TMO mining management systems.
- Apassul: Creating a custom internal management project.
Innovation Lab: Developing "Economizer" (an Airbnb-style marketplace) and "Netgol-certacom" (a social media platform for emerging football talent).
Prior to this, I served as a Frontend Engineer at WeON, maintained Easy Synergy, and spent two years at Reside, where I specialized in building accessible, high-scale React applications.
My technical core is built on React, React Native, Elm, and advanced CSS (Tailwind, SCSS, Styled Components). I am deeply committed to HTML Accessibility and am currently pushing the boundaries of what's possible with Qwik.
